## The local path.

Use the optional MCP Apps extension with a compatible desktop or CLI client. Headful includes setup paths for Codex, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and OpenCode. Tool support and interactive App rendering vary by client and version.

## A grant with a purpose.

Choose the orgs and capabilities a client may use. Grants are revocable and separate from Salesforce sign-in. Your Salesforce credentials stay out of chat configuration; requested tool results may still be shared with your chosen external AI provider.

## ChatGPT has a different connection path.

Hosted ChatGPT cannot connect directly to your Mac’s localhost. The separate invitation-only Headful Cloud service offers a remote OAuth MCP path for private testing. A local integration does not automatically create a hosted connector or public marketplace listing.

## Ask. Inspect. Review.

Start with a small read. If you prepare a supported write, approve the exact org, target, and effect in Headful. Connecting an agent is not consent to future changes.
