Choose the client and inspect the setup.
Setup previews let you inspect the proposed change before applying it. Supported configuration changes preserve unrelated entries. Do not paste Salesforce access tokens, refresh tokens, or client secrets into a chat or harness configuration.
- Keep Headful running on your Mac and verify the connection you want to use.
- Open Extensions and enable the optional MCP Apps extension after inspecting its license and settings.
- Open agent setup and choose the client you use. Local setup paths include Codex, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, OpenCode, and generic configuration.
- Review the proposed configuration and choose the orgs and capabilities for that client.
- Apply the supported setup, then reload the client if its instructions require it.
Make the first call a small read.
Client grants are scoped and revocable. Connecting another org does not automatically add it to an existing client grant. Interactive Apps need a client that supports them; text tools can be available where the interface cannot render.

Your Mac remains part of the connection.
The local bridge needs Headful running. Hosted ChatGPT cannot reach a Mac loopback URL directly. The separate cloud beta has a remote OAuth connection and its own setup; it is not a required relay for the Mac workspace.
Control access and data sharing.
Disable an extension or revoke a client grant when you no longer want it active. Review the selected tool results you share with external AI providers. An agent can prepare supported changes; explicit human review is still required to execute them.
